Common air filter adapters are flimsy and weak. This causes the filter to fall off the carb during off-roading or during assembly when trying to tighten the air filter nut too tight.
This 3D printed heavy duty adapter is extra thick and sturdy. It has a larger filter lip for holding the metal air filter base and thick gussets to handle heavy tightening of the cap nut.
Gussets can be rotated to clear the fuel hose and throttle linkages.
The adapter accommodates an air filter base hole opening of 5-1/16” to 5-1/4”. Application of sealant on lip for an airtight seal is permissible. Material is ABS.
